How do you feel about people taking as gospel the results of myths busted or confirmed in less-than scientific procedures? Or to rephrase, even though the shows are very entertaining and filled with cool factoids, there will still be a sizable number of people believing things are or are not possible on the basis of your conclusions. What do you think about having that kind of power?

The nature of the show is that everything they do or say is valid. The reality is that the approach they take is nowhere near the approach someone in the scientific community attempting to prove or disprove something would take.
I used to teach science classes for little kids, and sometimes, if they asked me complicated questions, I would stop and break down things like black holes or multiple dimensions into simple terms with silly illustrations designed to teach them the fundamentals of a complex thing, without requiring them to understand the real underlying factors. I like to think that when they get older and go to college, they'll be sitting in physics class and pick up material faster than other kids, because they've had years to mull over that cool diagram from 2nd grade about why electrons don't really orbit a nucleus. I will have helped to build a foundation, even if the tools at the time were rudimentary.
Thus, I can easily applaud the work they do, but I want to know what it is like for scientifically minded people, who usually believe that knowledge is beautiful and good, to be in a much more prominent position, having to cater to the entertainment factor of science, sometimes at the expense of truth so they can slap a "Busted" or "Confirmed" on at the end.
After all, I would be sad if my explanations for things were where those kids decided to stop in terms of their scientific development. You have to hope that rather than being an arbiter of facts for the people that listen to you, that you are a catalyst for them to go and discover things on their own.
The dilemma must have an emotional or ethical impact on them, and I would be very interested to hear what they think about it. It's a delicate question, but it has personal meaning to me, and everyone else who has ever tried to help people appreciate the beauty of information.
Just bolt your workout equipment into one of those, start it up, and enjoy exercising.
Alternately, to increase the gravitational pull on the session, use weights with more mass. It magically makes them heavier.

Please look into the research done into aerodynamics of a bee (not sure what university did it). They make a honey bee the size of a shark and place the mechanical bee in mineral oil (or similar) to replicate the density of air at that scale. How did they determine what liquid to use? STANDARD ENGINEERING METHODS; they didn't just assume that the liquid that was easiest to find (standard water) would give them any reproducible and accurate data.
There's a lot more to physics than what some explosions will tell you. As someone who understands these principles, your show sickens me. I could use a show which does what you do, but with extensive help from expert engineers who understand why things will happen and can predict them and THEN prove them correct or incorrect.
I'd probably watch your show if my TiVo worked and I didn't have to watch a bunch of bull**** to get to the 10 seconds of footage I really want to see.
I do like you guys though, you just don't attempt to appeal to a more informed audience. You probably get 10x better ratings as a result, but I am not satisfied.
Also, their show wouldn't have made it past episode 1 if they did everything using computer models and working out formulas on paper all day. Lighten up.

Behold as I talk about things that are standard and menial in my colossal mind, yet you spend an entire episode stumped by them. Clearly, the general public is outraged that you don't use the "buckingham pi" method. My informed, brilliant and well dressed self agrees with them. There are other people that are big dicks like me (we call them engineers) and they will also watch your show. Even though there are not that many of them percentage wise, I am using this very unscientific method of rhetoric to convince you that your show will somehow pick up a 1000% increase in ratings if you make it more boring.

Kenapa mesti banyak orang mencalonkan diri untuk menjadi seorang pemimpin!disitulah yang membuat rakyat bingung untuk memilih dan memberikan kepercayaan kepada meraka.sampai saat ini saja saya masih bingung,mau dibawa kemana Negara ini oleh para pemimpin kita!
