Roll tiny balls of loose tinfoil and put them into a two litter bottle.(about 1/4 of the bottle) Then put toilet bowl cleaner in enough to cover the tin foil and the put the cap on and shake untill it gets hot, then throw it, it will be big loud and not very safe, but a whole lot of fun.

Have you ever made a snowbowl bomb? I was just watching the soda and candy episode, and if you roll up small loose balls of tin foil and then cover them with toilet bowl cleaner(snow bowl is what ive used) put the cap on and shake it untill it gets hot then throw it. Ive set off car alams and blew up a trash can...its fun.

In the light of the recent tragedy in florida with the death of three football players.,is it possible to right an overturned boat again by securing ropes to the gunnales of the boat and running the lines over the hull and standing on the opposite side of the hull and rotate the boat right again, then bail the boat. There has been questions about the Wanted-movietrick "Curving bullet"... Personally I KNOW it is next to impossible to make a bullets trajectory curve around people and obstacles by waving the gun about. Your recent episode with the exploding saw dust and non dairy creamer brought to mind my childhood as I grew up in North Dakota. Grain elevators were always very careful about sparks or any type of ignition divice when grain trucks were emptying at the local elevator. Elevator fires (explosions) were not common, but did occur in our area north of Fargo. I knew it was going to work, glad the crew was standing back a bit. Good luck in future episodes. I seen the episode awhile back where there was a myth that two drunken idiots thought it would be fun to shoot his friend with a gun full of cigarette butts. With one of the old rifles where you put in the wad then the gun powder then the bullet in this case the butts. Now on the show it looked like Adam and Jamie stuffed the gun with used cigarette butts. I believe that they even got one to stick in the ballistics dummy, but it didn't go far enough in to be anywhere close to peircing the heart of the dummy like in the myth. What I discovered many years ago in high school when your drunk you sometimes put the cigarette the wrong way in your mouth and light the butt end of the cigarette instead of the front and what I also discovered that the melted end of the cigarette butt becomes very hard. Therfore not tastefull when you try to smoke it after correctly lighting the other end infact I don't think I could even get much smoke to come through the melted end. So what I was thinking that if these two drunken guys accidently did this as well and loaded the gun with the butts with the melted tips if it would then have enough velocity to pierce the heart of the would be friend in the myth. Just wondering if Adam and Jamie could retry this myth in a revisted episode of some type.Also I was smoking Marlboro lights at the time if that helps. I'm interested in seeing the results. It was my comment, and I basically wanted to know how they felt about balancing those two forces.

I used to teach science classes for little kids, and sometimes, if they asked me complicated questions, I would stop and break down things like black holes or multiple dimensions into simple terms with silly illustrations designed to teach them the fundamentals of a complex thing, without requiring them to understand the real underlying factors. I like to think that when they get older and go to college, they'll be sitting in physics class and pick up material faster than other kids, because they've had years to mull over that cool diagram from 2nd grade about why electrons don't really orbit a nucleus. I will have helped to build a foundation, even if the tools at the time were rudimentary.

Thus, I can easily applaud the work they do, but I want to know what it is like for scientifically minded people, who usually believe that knowledge is beautiful and good, to be in a much more prominent position, having to cater to the entertainment factor of science, sometimes at the expense of truth so they can slap a "Busted" or "Confirmed" on at the end.

After all, I would be sad if my explanations for things were where those kids decided to stop in terms of their scientific development. You have to hope that rather than being an arbiter of facts for the people that listen to you, that you are a catalyst for them to go and discover things on their own.

The dilemma must have an emotional or ethical impact on them, and I would be very interested to hear what they think about it. It's a delicate question, but it has personal meaning to me, and everyone else who has ever tried to help people appreciate the beauty of information.

Just bolt your workout equipment into one of those, start it up, and enjoy exercising.

Alternately, to increase the gravitational pull on the session, use weights with more mass. It magically makes them heavier.
