Thank you for starting Reddit. I recommended the site to someone this morning. I told him Reddit gets news from all over the world and the information is driven by people, rather than corporations. I was once a Digger, but Reddit won me over. I believe Reddit can really make a difference in the US. I know it's a global site, but the media in the US is so filtered. Reddit gives people in the US the opportunity to expose themselves to information they would not have encountered otherwise. It's also great to get input from people from other countries.

By creating Reddit, you have created one of the most truly valuable web sites in the US. I can't speak for the rest of the world.

For those who are staying on with Reddit, I would like to say this. I do worry about blog teams trying to offset the balance. My local Congressman has a blog team his campaign manager setup. What they did and still do is use http://google.com/alerts to see where ever his name shows up and then they go to the sites they believe matter the most and pound them with comments in his favor.

I wonder if there would be a way to display a map of where your users are located who give a submission a thumbs up or thumbs down. Red dots could be thumbs down, and green dots could be thumbs up. Maybe a Google mashup could be used to take the load off your servers. Google Analytic can tell what city a hit is coming from and will even list military bases. Interesting patterns might turn up on articles. Just a thought.

I have been libelled seriously by a redditor. I have been trying to get in contact w/ reddit admins for many days now. "send a message" via reddit has gotten no response. Please email me. I realy wish I could just talk w/ you guys but I am going to have to escalate this into the court system if I am unable to contact anyone.

This is really tiresome. If you really want to say something that you feel is important, copy-pasting it all over a totally unrelated thread is a great way to dilute your message and make people think you're either mentally unstable or an asshole or both. Knock it off, asshole.

OMG!! I've been on this great site for only a month, and I see where a lot of folks are sreaming for chages to back to the way it was, what ever that was, BUT! I love what it is now I stopped going to the lame as hell CNN and FOX pages for my news and updates to whats happening in the great big world, and I can discuss, argue, agree, disagree with many great folks out there, Hell I stopped going to myspace and facebook, I only check my E-mail once every 3 days since I've been coming to Reddit. Steve Alexis I wish you both the best even thought we dont know each other from Adams cat ( never knew how that came about) But thanx for making something great, that brought a super amount of twisted people together from all around to meet in one great place. Steve when your in Virginia and your on top of the Blue ridge parkway Looking down to N.C. give me a wave. every so often Ill wave in the direction just in case your there. All the big love you have acquired from this site I should be able to catch a glimps of your shadow. LOL
