self serve advertising on reddit is now open for business!
But I still miss it.
Can we make it?
Suddenly I don't fit in here anymore. It's like someone left the window open, but I'm in a submarine.
Registered to a new site today. But I came back for some reason.
Two bads don't make me secure again.
Is this mockery, or is this hope ? I can't tell anymore. Will keep you posted.
All the April Fools Day pranks in one place.
Yet, I just hate so much now. No coincidence.
It's like being trapped in an apple without a worm. I can't bear to face the gap.
Misery doesn't come easily. Misery is the product of our work. What do you think?
We're just doomed anyway. Has it gotten so bad we need feel guilt for the slightest pleasure?
It was here, the betrayal,
I am moving back and forth in my chair,
arms wrapped tightly around myself
repressing horrible memories
Suicide is always an option
I must find someone to downmod
I declare this to be a joke then :)

Happy April 1st!
I had to block digg.css to prevent myself vomiting on the screen
:)
please compress as many items as possible into one screenful
Roll on, April 2nd.
Safe and Fun April Fool's to one and all! Ho! Ho! Ho!
thanks very much.
Makes reddit much more pleasing to the eyes.

You know what the redesign's like? Wired! Oh, wait, Wired owns Reddit. NOW I get it. And I stopped going to Wired after their redesign, because it was so huge, and I couldn't make the layout smaller.
LAME MOVE, REDDIT!
Tell me this an April Fool's joke.
A little obvious, but you did not fail to deliver.
I was like oh noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooes
Or were you just getting too many hits so you wanted some of us to go away???
This is horrible - you should fire your designers.
it scared me
I don't share your hate of IE. I cannot assume that you did not test your page in IE, so you must have an agenda then. Another thing, I am using FF for the sole purpose to use Addblock. And with it on the page does not render properly. So I am screwed all around and not only I.
Be freaking reasonable, will you?
Do better next time.
Suppose I can expect to get buried for that, eh?
classic.reddit.com goes back to the new crappy april fools UI after switching pages.
I am using interenet explorer, and there seems to be a problem (I mean other than my poor choice in browsers). The rating and arrows are scrolling along the page, not staying fixed.
Also, many of the images seem to have a link problem, showing naught but the "red x of error"
That was a horrible description of the problem, but I hope it helps.
the old Reddit (not being a computer nerd rationalist materialist), but I prefer to have all that stuff rather than see the site merge with some bland, mainstream b.s. such as Digg. I'm willing to put up with the atheist stuff (it is, after all, less offensive than most of what passes for Christianity in the US this long while), but I draw the line at bland commercial and mainstream.
lame but good - dont digg tho
I dispute that number and would like to see a counter installed for public views. If 5.6 million people are visiting, then that is all they are doing---just visiting. They are not contributing, voting or commenting. Over the last couple of months the turn over on Reddit has deteriorated significantly. Stories hang out on the front page for days, ratings rarely get to 1000, let alone the 4000 and 5000 that we used to see for "Top Stories". Very few comments are being posted compared to 6 months ago. Redditors that used to post regularly have cut back to nearly nothing and over half of the new posts are spam for blog sites. 5.6 Million might be good for Ad Views but it has done nothing for the quality of the Reddit experience.

and the stories are better too somehow..
Naysayers be damned!
The nice thing about the other type is you could scan the page quickly to pick out the items you wanted to read. Now you have to stop and focus on each item. If some adjustments are not made, probably will spend much less time here.
Agree... Aprils Fools.??
You have post the link for classic, update the links also, clicking on "next" page goes to new design.
Also very buggy, unuseable in IE7.
WHY? WHY??????
RIGHT?!
AHHHHH
I quite
respect
