You're not the first to suggest this. I deliberately left this off the first spec because I wanted it to be as dead simple as possible. If we can get those voting arrows sexed up a bit and loading quickly, I think it could work.

This is really, really great. Good job!

I like the idea of being able to vote as well as having a link to the original submission. I love having select quotes present, but I also wonder why the link goes to the user page and not a permalink of the comment.
